May 3, 2018 marked the 25th anniversary of UNESCO World Press Freedom Day. To complement the spirit of the day, we partnered with the United Nations and The New York Times to launch a bold initiative to encourage a better-informed society. For the first time, news organizations around the world came together and encouraged their audiences to not just consume their own news platform but to read, listen to and watch other news platforms, even their competitors.
